Subtitles Done! just activate them! ;) Today podcast is a tutorial about giving some sand texture to your typography. There are several ways to do it, but I believe that things need to be simplified, so today process will be done with two tools so you can make a comparison and get your own conclusions. Lets get into it!
Now if you want to quickly review this tutorial, I have added a couple of slideshows so you can see the steps to follow for each tool. Lets just remember that GIMP is a Bitmap editor, while Inkscape is a vector editor. Even if I love GIMP, when I have to work with designs that “might” get printed, I rather using vectors, since they will allow me to resize my artwork without loosing quality. However, good thing is that we will always have different options to do everything, so let me know which process did you like the most!
