This is just a friendly reminder that we will have our weekly videoconference through Google+ this time, and our topic will be: How to be a Fedora Ambassador

This will be a general talk about:

  • How to join the Ambassadors program
  • Steps to fullfill before open a trac tickets
  • How to contact and interact with your mentor
  • What to do once you are aproved
  • What will Fedora expect from you once you’re an Ambassadors
  • Tips to be the best ambassador

    Well I think that technically the best solution at the moment is BigBlueButton, but the unfortunate thing is that we don’t have an instance running on Fedora infrastructure. Maybe it’s a good opportunity to ask for it from the infrastructure team.

    Currently the project is on a transition phase migrating the frontend to html5. We use it on the Greek Open-Source community using an instance I’ve setup on a non-profit that promotes Open-Source in Greece.

      hey thx! – Well, I’m using hangout since was the best option at the moment (without involving infra install), however, I’m up to try any ideas that people might have, and even use different tools everytime I can. So if you have any idea, just let me know :D
