Guess who’s back? … Amy Pond! Oh no, wrong movie. Karen Gillan film this movie in 2013, after finishing her stay at Doctor Who, changing a fun character for a thriller one.
As plot says, Oculus tells the story of Kaylie Russel, a woman tries to exonerate her brother, who was convicted of murder of their parents. Now after 11 years, Tim is newly released from protective custody, but Kaylie is still obsess and wants to prove her brother innocence, by showing the world that the crime was committed by a supernatural phenomenon.
This is the kind of movies that doesn’t have an “apparent” chronological order, a thriller that for many, tells a well known story, but in a different way. To the tech-fans out there, this film might be quite enjoyable, and if you are a Whovian, even more. I did enjoyed it a lot, it’s a bit different from the usual scary movies, which gives it a plus.
