I had many doubts about writing about this movie… honestly i like to write about GOOD stuff, but this was the movie i saw this week, so this will be…

This new movie with Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network and Zombieland) tells the story of a boring boy who works at a boring governmental office, and everything starts to change when another boy arrives; which looks exactly like him, but is more charismatic, confident and sexy with the ladies.

double

Spoilers alert…
This were the worst 93 min of my week… what kind of movie is this? This is the most boring movie I have seen in the past 5 years. First, you have no idea what they do at this office, or why is he practically the only young one. Second, dialogs are so slow that you practically want to get your hand inside the tv and slap the guy so he reacts.

His girlfriend (or whatever she is) is the only decent of this movie, at least she speaks and has some facial expressions. You have no idea if the kids is at a madhouse or is just that they had so low budget that had to reuse the security guard as doctor; and if that’s not enough, they even start using different names during the movie. I have no idea if this is just a dream or just a cheap copy of The Fight Club.

i understand that there is a new trend about this weird movies or the ones that have a semi-incoherent plot; but if you want a movie to fall asleep, this should be your choice. What frustrate me the most is that this movie has 7 at IMDB… SEVEN! How is even possible that this movie has a higher score than Transcendence (not my favorite, but better than this) or than Transformers?

Anyway, due this kind of movies I lose my faith in humanity…
