164/365: Qué me falta? / What is missing?

= English
There is only one more day of planning, compulsive phone calls day, so everything is done on time … an endless list of "I still have …"

Tomorrow I can only blow up balloons, decorate, and run for things that, as always, are only ready at the last minute …

One single day ahead … one day, and then FLISoL.

Gimp: contrast (with kamihacker’s help)

Hmmmm….. I will be *that guy*: the colors could be better (I would have liked them warmer), the photo should be exposed for the face not for the elbow and we know the photo was edited with Photoshop.

  12. tatica says:

@nicu this photo was NOT edited on photoshop. I only keep the RGB colors of the original photo (and this is something you can do on gimp)… seriously… how you dare to say that I use photoshop?… this is the first comment where you don’t make me happy… really.
    .
I also try to fix the colors, but sometimes, edit a photo is not all… when a photo send you a message, you must try to keep it and spread it. Maybe is a too emotive tought but… what can I say :)

  13. nicu says:

I made the Photoshop assumption seeing in EXIF: “ICCProfile Name: Adobe RGB ” – I know this is an in-camera setting, as opposed to sRGB, but why would you use it if you don’t edit the photo with Adobe software?

  14. tatica says:

I had a photoshop laptop just next to me and I was testing everything that a friend learn in a recent photogrphy workshop. In fact, “looking how photoshop works” is how I learn to use gimp.
    .
At that moment the ideas was that if I didn’t convert it and keep the Adobe RGB the colors might look much better (I did it on my 10″acer, and I couldn’t see the change in here; but maybe in a bigger pc can make a difference)

  15. nicu says:

sRGB and Adobe RGB are both extensions of the RGB color space and not one is better than the other, they are just as good.
And I also learned not not rely on how I see the colors on the screen of the netbook, a good dsplay will make a difference (that’s why I prefer to do the editing on the desktop).

  16. tatica says:

    I can’t use my desktop pc right now… so I don’t have a chance to “choose” :(

  17. nicu says:

Yeah, I understand that, I am not that far… my desktop at home is irrecuperably broken, so all can use is the netbook, for a good display I had to use the computer at the office (and this morning when started it I realised how bad were parts of the drawing I made the other day and began the day by fixing it)
