He sido organizadora desde el 2008 del FLISoL Caracas (Festival Latinoamericano de Instalación de Software Libre) y año tras año he pasado experiencias buenas y aprendizajes no tan buenos. El FLISoL es un evento que requiere dedicación, tiempo y esfuerzo… y por sobre todo, mucho amor a esto que llamamos “Software Libre”.

Tres años de experiencia y la confianza de la comunidad *linuxera* Venezolana me han concedido el honor y la responsabilidad de hacerme cargo de coordinar y tratar de mejorar el FLISoL Venezuela, pasando lo que he hecho en Caracas a la experiencia de las 15 ciudades ya confirmadas para este año.

Voy a ser bien honesta, TODAS las metas que me propuse para este año han sido logradas, pero no solo por mi… sino por la excelente labor de la comunidad de usuarios Venezolana que ha puesto el 1000% de ellos,. Entonces, ¿Yo que he hecho? fastidiarlos, apurarlos, presionarlos… hacerlos trabajar :D todo el merito es de ellos.

I’ve been organizing since 2008 the FLISoL Caracas (Latin American Festival of Free Software Installation), and year after year I had good experiences and some not so good. The FLISoL is an event that requires dedication, time and effort… and much love for this thing we call “Software Libre”.

Three years of experience and the Venezuela *linux users* confidence have given to me the honor and responsibility to take charge of coordinating and try to improve FLISoL Venezuela, take my experience of what I’ve done in Caracas and spread to the already 15 cities confirmed for this year.

I will be very honest, all the goals I set for this year have been achieved, but not only because of my… but for the excellent work of the Venezuelan user community that has give the 1000% of them. So, what have I done? annoy, hardships, pressures … make them work :D All credit is theirs.
