¿Como sería tu vida si en determinado punto tus dedos fuesen conectores usb, tus ojos camaras de 10mpx, tus piernas un segway y tu cerebro tuviese células positrónicas de cesio saturado? Técnicamente, el vivir tan atados a las tecnologías nos hace ser pseudodependientes de cosas que en épocas primarias no teníamos… pero, ¿Quien indica que en otras épocas no eramos dependientes por igual?
Si no me entienden muy bien, los invito a que lean “Anochecer” de Isaac Asimov; libro en el que se relata como un mundo puede colapsar ante la falla de lo que consideramos básico y cotidiano, la luz del sol.

How would your life be if at some point your fingers were usb connectors, your eyes 10mpx cameras, your legs part of a segway and your brain had saturated cesium positronic cells? Technically, we live so tied to technology that makes us dependent of things that we didn’t had at primitive ages… but, Who tell us that we were not dependent at the first place?
If you don’t understand me very well, I invite you to read “Nightfall” by Isaac Asimov, a book where you can see how a world can collapse upon the failure of what we consider basic, everyday sunlight.

I thought myself about such cyber-enhancements and the one tempting me the most would be eye cameras, there are so many times then I want to take a photo and I can’t (not enough space, not enough time or just nor the right place) and there are so many times I realise I passed next to something interesting to shoot, but only after the fact, I dind’t even saw it fully (so the cameras would have to be hooked with a memory unit). Still, I understand it would be bad from a technical point of view: your eyes would become obsolete only in a very few years and needing continuous replacement, you would have no zoom and so.
For the time being, I guess I will restrict myself to external devices :p

@nicubunu maybe we are not *literally plugged* to electronics devices… but if you carry all the time your phone with you, a laptop, a camera, mp3.. anything, then you’re *almost plugged* to some special devices that give some cute enhance to your life. Is just a perception issue.
