Señoras, Señores y Fedorian@s… Hoy salieron los resultados de FAmSCo y pues he quedado seleccionada para formar parte de este comité que, entre sus principales funciones, está velar que los embajadores y usuarios fedora de todo el mundo esten felices.
Una nueva puerta se abre para los Latinoamericanos en este comité donde podemos hacer el intento de conseguir cosas asombrosas y así, apoyar a los que como nosotros, tuvieron un inicio bastante dificil como comunidad.
Hoy somos una comunidad en pleno crecimiento, con piedras en el camino como todo en la vida; pero hemos demostrado que pese a cualquier dificultad, el tener metas bien planteadas hace la diferencia.
Felicitaciones a todos los que participaron, ser parte de FAmSCo o no serlo, no cambia el hecho de que todos trabajamos por una meta en común… hacer de Fedora la mejor distro y comunidad. Gracias a todos los que votaron.
Pd: si… hoy ando en vestido y tacones… y que?

Ladies, Gentlemen and Fedorians… Today FAmSCo results came out and I have been chosen to be part of this committee that has as main functions, ensure that the ambassadors and fedora users around the world are happy.
A new door opens for Latin Americans on this committee where we can make the attempt to achieve amazing goals and also support those who like us, had a difficult start as a community.
Today we are a growing community, with stones in the road like everything in life, but we have shown that despite any difficulties and have clear goals, makes a difference.
Congratulations to all involved, be part of FAmSCo or not, does not change the fact that we all work towards a common goal… make Fedora the best distro and community. Thanks to everyone who voted.

Hola, que tal, bueno felicidades, te comento algo, tengo tiempo trabajando con distros de linux mas no soy activista en comunidades, hoy revisando apuntes y cosas asi, llegue a planeta linux, vi que estaba venezuela, al entrar veo tu post y dejame decirte que me quede boquiabierto, no sabia que la comunidad de software libre de venezuela fuera tan grande (bueno tiene mas personas de los que puedes esperar) y segundo que una chica este tan activa (no es ser machista si no que es poco comun), pes felicidades, que estes bien ;-)

@jackson lo mas recomendable es que sepas por donde empezar. Bien sea por la documentacion oficial de la distribucion que usas, o una aplicacion en específico. Siempre se recomienda ir a la pagina oficial y bucar por los enlaces que la misma comunidad de usuarios realiza…. Si eso no te satisface, es donde debes recurrir a documentacion adicional o comprar algun libro.
Internet es la meca de los recursos de documentacion, y google casi siempre lo sabe todo :D

And the photo is nice, you look feminine! But this time the flash ruined it (I see the EXIF “Flash: Auto, Fired”): it lightened excessively the door frame and you are sill in the shadow, for example a normal viewer can’t tell if you wear heels or sneakers.
@nicubunu thx hon. I’m aware that with famsco I’ll have a huge responsibility but also I’ll be able to reach more people and extend my help a little more.
about the photo, yeah… that photo sux, but the goal was acomp. besides, all day was a complete chaos with the famsco and the formal dinner I had that night :\

@neville yeap, de hecho tiene pinta de ser un pulpo, pero ahí le vamos en equipo; yo estoy aqui por mi gente, mis embajadores y la gente que cree que puedo aportar un grano de arena. Así que uds son quienes mandan, yo solo soy el altavoz de sus palabras :)
