El mejor paso que he dado en mi vida ha sido independizarme, aunque también ha sido el más difícil. Trabajar es realmente espectacular cuando realmente disfrutas lo que haces. A veces tienes días malos… obviamente, pero si logras encontrar algo que te apasiona, y logras vivir de eso, te conviertes en un ser plenamente felíz.

Working is spectacular when you really enjoy what you do, Sometimes you have bad days … obviously, but if you are able to find something that makes you feel passionate, and you can make a living out of it, you become a totally fullfilled human being

I am not sure I understand about what kind of independence are you talking about, it may be personal, professional, material, sentimental and so on.
All of them nicu. when I decided to move from my parents house was a huge step, because they didn’t support me. so I had to get a job for low pay, eat poorly during the first year, no frills or shopping or holidays, and try to continue college. It was a difficult period … but it was worthwhile because it taught me the value of things and made me the person that I am today (not a spoiled child as it was before)

Cuando decidí mudarme de casa de mis padres tome un gran paso, porque ellos no me apoyaron. Así que tuve que conseguir un trabajo de mala paga, comer muy mal durante el primer año, nada de lujos ni compras o vacaciones, y además de eso tratar de continuar la universidad. Fue una etapa difícil… pero valió la pena porque me enseñó el valor de las cosas y me hizo ser la persona que soy hoy (no una niña malcriada como era antes)
